Can't type in Macro Window

I can't seem to type to change the name of the Macro I want to record. I have a Window behind the box, and that helped with clicking around in the MAcro Window, but when I hit Backspace to change the Macro Test to another name it my chat window in game says "Nobody has sent u a tell"
How can I type in the MAcro NAme I want??

Yea known bug in EQ2.
Gotta create dummy scripts in say the dx9 test config. THen go into eq2 and you can select it to record over.

what the hell is he talking about dummy script..could someone PLEASE explain in more detail how to solve this problem?
