Mentoring give good exp at 60+

Hi,
Dont know if its suppose to be normal or not but here it goes.
I am level 61 and if I group with another level 61 and kill mob around level 63 I get 0.1% exp. So far that seem ok. If I group with a level 46 and mentor down to 46 and kill level 50 mob I get the same exp per kill. So its very good to power level people, they get very nice exp and you get the same amount of exp that if you were killing mob for your level.
