How to make a macro read from the logfile?

hey all,
I know this has been done before, but I haven't used it personally so thats why I ask.
I want to make a macro program (such as autoIT for example) read from the generated logfile, allowing me to to then use /msg to send remote commands to other characters when multiboxing.
Script reads new line from the log, reformats it slightly, then types it into the chat window in command form, making he character cast a spell, sit, or talk or whatever, depending on what was actualyl sent via the /msg.
Can someone tell me how to do this, or refer me to a script that has allready acomplished this, so I can reproduce that function?
