1) When you get to lvl 10, select "craftsman" as your chosen path from your crafting trainer person.

2) Go forth into Commonlands (you are all evil, right?) and gather "tubers" from roots, or buy them from broker. (usually not for sale anymore) Also gather maple wood.

3) Have a friend or bot buy you the lvl 10 Scholar essentials. Scribe this book.

4) Make Stroma Washes, Resins and Oils with the tubers. The recipies are in Scholar essential 10. pristine yields 4, but hard to do pristine as a craftsman.

5) Go to woodworking table, make totems. Each ingredient requires a subcombine, and they do not stack so may be hard to macro, but you guys are the experts at that.

Each totem sells back to vendor for 5sp. A pristine combine (easy to do as craftsman) yields 3 totems = 15sp. Cost = around 50cp and time.

There are lots of other recipies that yield $, but this is the best ive found so far. Enjoy!

anyone know what to craft to get $$ like this as a scholar?

in your mid teens i think 50cp per combine is good for a scholar. I was doind stroma washes, pristine yields 4 for sell back was 68cp cost was 12 cp. But need a tuber for each combine.

Much simpler / faster than totems but less profit. Not sure if higher lvl scholar recipies will yield more, i assume they will.

Of course, SoE may do a massive nerf and make every single sell back = cost. I could care less, the game is pretty lame anyway.

Just made some Vision Totems of the Bee and of the otter.
The merchant is only paying 1s67 copper for them now.
That may sound ok until you work out that you had to make 2 *stoma resin and 2*stroma oil,the maple lumer, turned maple lumber, maple quill, thread, bow string then the totum... oh an you will have used distiled water, filiment and sandpaper.....

Oh well gues thay have changed it in the last patch.

yeah, it seems that fastest way to get something nerfed is to post it here. Or maybe coincidence i post about totems then 3-4 days later patch and changed price.

It is coincidence. The totem craft was public everywhere. The devs know what items are crafting for $$ and yes they will all be fixed eventually. Hence we just post them so everybody can bank until they do.

Keeping it to yourself will not prolong its demise. Lol.

Since the December patch, totem sell for 83c to NPCs. Any other product still making money?
