Problem with recording macros

Everytime I click to record a macro, Everquest II stops receiving any input from my mouse or keyboard. The error that appears in my XU log is below:
ERROR: Requested DirectX9 Screen Format is not currently compatable with XUnleashed.
I have tried to get the DirectX 9 Test to work, but have similar problems.
I have the following options set in Everquest II:
Launch Path: c:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest II\EQ2.exe
Hook1: EverQuest2.exe
Alternate Hooking: Yes
Ignore DirectInput: Yes
Auto Update Plugins: Yes
Display Logo: Yes
Use Random File Names: Yes
Any advice would be helpful.

Did you put the persona window behind your macro record window?
What happens when you try to record in the dx9 test config?
Might be a keyboard/mouse driver problem, are they standard?

Yes.
Same thing, I lose mouse and keyboard control.
I have a Logitech mouse and keyboard and use Logitech's driver, which is MS certified.
I've tried everything I can think of. It just doesn't work at this point and I am more than a little frustrated.

Because it happens on the dx9 test config, I'm guessing it is either a driver problem, or a system process that is running like antivirus, etc.

Trying to find the post for the logitech drivers PC game issue that was occuring with EA sports games !
One thing they recommended was change the version of Directx u had and also roll back on the Logitech drivers as well.
I assume u got Directx 9.0c or later, so try version 9.0a, if same problem then roll back drivers as well .......
Have a logitech mouse atm, but have directx 9.0a and initial installation drivers for mouse.
