I saw somebody do this the other day, and thought WTF? why would they want to die?

So I tried it. And what do ya know, ported to commonlands.

Here is the trick:
Jump in the executioners pit in freeport. You will be teleported to commonlands.

To avoid dammage while falling, you can use the lag (click window bar at top of window) and it will slow your fall, but I have never taken enough dammage to die anyway.

Wyvern, do you happen to be on the Oasis server? That might've very well been one of my alts. I ran up to the thing, and (this was my first evil char), and saw it, and thought to myself, 'Hrm. I wonder what happens if I fall down here, because surely, it wouldn't kill me, would it?' And so I jumped. Whew... was I relieved when I found out I didn't die.

I thought everyone did this already? On BlackBurrow there is a steady stream of people sacrificing themselves.

If you jump dead center in the pit you seem to take the damage and land on the bottom(thank god it has a bottom). About 50% of life I'd guess. If you hit the wall, you slide down just right to hit the zone out.

I wish this was in NFP, SFP or EFP...WFP already has a door to Commonlands less than half a map away.
