Explained: No Sunderd splitpaw timer

In the Splitpaw zone available for the pre-order customers before the adventure pack was released, there was a wall one could blow up to kill some crawlers. If the player instead does not blow up that wall and kill the crawlers, they will bypass the timer, which would otherwise be 20 minutes.

The reason this is worth mentioning even now is because that zone gives quite good xp ( 15% at full vitality) each run, which can be completed quite fast, and also on average 4-5 chest drops.


Well, it has been 4 days and no reply...anyone?

hes refering to the pre-order zone- the one accessed from TS.

Figured as much. I don't think its that good of a zone. Worth prem?

I don't think so, because this was postd by a dev.

The reason for the 15 minute timer was that the spiders he's referring to in Delving Into Darkness were dropping 4 gold per kill, 100%. So, peeps would sneak over, loot, start over, sneak, loot, ad infinitum. Devs put a 15 minute timer on the zone, IF you killed the spiders, to stop that exploit while they tried to fix the coding. (It's been fixed).

And for the OP... If you think THAT xp is good, go play in Splitpaw, I recommened Harclave's free xp while you afk :)
