You need to make it where, the authors of threads can lock & unlock their own threads.

Scenario:Lets say I didn't like where this thread was going and I wanted ppl to lock it. I'm saying the admin should make it where I can lock the thread(cuz I'm the author).Get it?

Why lock when you could just delete the first post (yours) and close the topic entirely?

yeah this is a bad idea - would get abused to much

You can edit any post, normally you can delete your post if it is the most recent in the topic.
