How do you make symbols int he chat? The stars, triangles rectangles...
Please PM me if you know how, or what to search for on google (havent found it yet)

some say its ALT codes but i think its pure haxx

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Char Map

look at bottom for Alt Codes, in GW you need to type them quickly or they wont work

Ok im gonna try the alt + ### thing..although I don't think thats what it is..

Tried em, and i type the whole thing in under a second and it doesnt work. I don't want ÆǶ¤ñ ..

Two ways to do it:

1) Get ready to send a message. Now, hold ALT then start pressing number's on the NUMPAD. This will bring up a special character. It is MUCH more difficult to do in GW compared to other games such as Starcraft or Diablo.

2) Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map - As dance said. You copy the symbols, then paste them in GW, but note, not all of them work!

however nowhere in any of the font sets is there symbols that look like the ones used in GW, or any that I have tried that magically convert to them. if you know which ones to use, then please feel free to tell me.

Dunno what you've seen there but I have some crazy alts in my name that you prolly never seen in charmap.
Are you talking about backwards R's and like weird S's n stuff?

ok to get those, "triangles squares stars etc" go to watever program you use to type with like.....microsoft word or anything and go to insert, symbol, then iconic symbols adn choose watever you want in there. but gw can only show couple liek them so when you copy them it wont show. just does nothing : \. heh cant believe many people found this out yet...

or if you know your alt keys, you can do that XD

Char-map is much easier and effective
