i see people selling GW account #s on GW for money is that legal and can u get baned for it? beacuse my friend claims he was baned for 24 hours for it

well i can guarentee you that all (maybe not all, but a ^^^^ number anyway) of those acounts for sale were stolen via keyloggers.

Thats probably why Anet is banning and suspending people for it (especially repeat offenders).

Well, selling accounts in itself is not illegal (depending upon your country), but violates Anets User Agreements, since technically, you don't "own" your account. Rather, you pay for the right to play, and hence, this right may be suspended anytime Anets wants to.

Which means, in a nutshell, that you may get banned for it.

yea well who reads the user agreements

no one does really but your technicly supposed to because you agree to it every time you play so you can say you didnt read it but you "sign" it each time you log on basicly so your in a contract

i tried to scam it out of him cus i clearly could
see he was trying to scam me himself

i said i'll pay when u give me the pass
and half of the email (such as asdfasdf@________)
soooo i got them both but i said
nah i wont do it
so i tried around with the email endings a bit and found the right1
but i found out he gave me wrong pass
sooo i didnt get his acc.....

lol he was a scammer hmm considering no one reads user agreement i could make game if dey accept it dey have give me 1 mill lol
