sry for the noob question but when i go to comfort a new pet it says in not in range with my pet...i am sanding right next to the animal. anyone know whats wrong?

It sounds like you mean you are trying to charm a new pet but are using the wrong skill.

You first need to get rid of your old pet. To do that you need to find an animal tamer. In Tyria there is one right outside Ascalon. Make sure he is with you at the time (the pet that is) and say yes to the question of if the tamer should take it of you.

Once you have got rid of it you can then charm a new pet (note CHARM not comfort) the same as your first one.

i was using that right skill. i just signed off and signed back on and it let me charm a new one

so then was it just a glitch

If it said you were not in range of your pet you were using the wrong skill.

I think ive clicked it doubleclicked on accident(i do it all the time) and once it said that in red bold letters:/

haha comfort animal or charm animal? if u were trying to comfort an animal u didnt charm it saysa that ^^

you cannot comfort an animal you haven't charmed yet lol.
