type "/petname growler" without the speechmarks and replace growler with the name of your choice.

maybe a little off topic, but what do u like to name your pets? In pvp i like to name it after myself. For example in my guild's gvg build we all have pets and we name it after ourselves. example - my ign is Wl monk and my pet name will be Wl monk. It confuses the hell outta ppl

i usually name my pet out of something in my name if my name is Foolish Mercenary, then my pet would be foolish fang, maybe claw, etc

And if for some reason you want to un-name your pet you type "/petname" without the speechmarks and just hit enter and your pets name will be set back to the default name for it.

I name all my pets after in game characters
1 is named Prince Rurik = this ones my favorite it confuses lots of people
Shiro Tagachi is another 1
or if there is another person with a pet
i give it the same name lol

lol mine is named Abyss but that's because it's for my UW/FoW Ranger and that's all it does so Abyss seems to suit her

i name my pet in pve cuddles or !@#$%^&* makes pple think your weird

and you can have a conversation with it to lighten pples spirits if in ha not iway ewww name it like ghostly hero or frozen soil confuses pple or gvg name it your name or like guild thief

I name it totally weird names to make people think i'm like 5.
eg. Pet = Tiger - Petname = Mufassa (yes i know mufassa is a lion)
Pet = Crab - Petname = Krusty Krab
Just dumb crap like that.
