Yesterday i was doing the dunes of despair mission with some henchies hoping to find some good runes. well while i was out there i had looted i think it was called a leather mane, but it was something mane(you get them off of those horse guy dudes, Centaurs) Well anyways i got those and i used a superior salvage kit on it and i got 2 fur squares from them. to test it i had another one in my invetory and i salvaged that one and i got 2 more fur squares. I went to the rare material trader and sold them for 800g for all 4 of them, im sure you could make more money if you took the time to sell them.

Hope this helps people that are collecting charr hides and looking for fur squares.

I'm pretty sure you're talking bout Losaru Manes, and when you test something my Algebra teacher always said to repeat the same process 3 times, and chances are it works.

Okay if i find 3 i'll test it out.

That sucks, maybe you can earn your money back by selling fur squares

Fur is a good marketing tool... good to tilt a trade too =)

Seeing Fur sells for 390 to the trader right now thats a good idea but this is very common knowledge - as it is actually in the guide for what you get from the superior or expert kits...NAY

Personally I think this is a helpful guide, I will post back in a few minutes to tell whether or not it works for me.

I got 10 losaru manes and superior salvaged all of them. Only 3 of them turned into fur squares, the rest bacame Piles of Glittering Dust. Unless you can find a fast way to famr losaru manes, the time it takes to make 10 fur squres (about 4k) is pretty long.
