Guide for Good Droks W/Mo Droks Runner
Posted: April 14th, 2006, 6:28 pm
This is just what I use to run to Droks from Beacons. Your opinion of the best build for running Droks might be different from mine. However, this is just my opinion and it has worked for me. Feel free to use this build but please do not leave negative comments about how this build sucks. First of all, you will need to purchase armor from Droknar's Forge. Then, you will need to get the following skills either from the trainer or from quests. I will put the name of the quest you can get the skill from or the boss you can capture it from using the signet of capture.
Mending Quest (Helping the People of Ascalon) Skill Trainer
(Captain Osric)
Healing Signet Skill Trainer (Sir Bertran) Quest (Gargoyle Trouble,
Warrior Test)
Charge (Elite) Boss (Balthazar's Cursed on Perdition Rock)
Sprint Skill Trainer (Captain Osric) Quest (Military Matters)
Balanced Stance Skill Trainer (Bartoch) Quest (The Lost Princess)
Endure Pain Quest (Into The Breach) Skill Trainer (Captain Osric)
Purge Conditions Quest (Supplies For the Duke) Skill Trainer (Captain
Osric)
Holy Veil Skill Trainer (Master Scout Kiera, Sorim) Quest (The
Undead Hordes)
Okay, now that you have all of the skills that you will need for the run, it is time to buy the armor that you will need. The best type of armour to get for running to Droks is a mix of Knights and Gladiators Armour.
Gladiator's Helmet
Gladiator's Hauberk
Gladiator's Leggings
Gladiator's Gauntlets
Knight's Boots
You'll need these runes
Warrior Rune of Minor Tactics
Warrior Rune of Minor Axe Mastery
Warrior Rune of Minor Strength
Warrior Rune of Superior Absorption
Warrior Rune of Superior Vigor
(The last two runes are quite expensive each costing at least 60 k, so you can just buy a major absorption and major vigor. However, it would be best to buy the superior runes if you have the money)
Alright now for the build itself...
The reason there are so many skills at the top is that there is more than one build that can run to Droks. I will give you the skills that are required for the run and I will leave the rest of the decision to you.
Charge
Sprint
Holy Veil
Balanced Stance
Endure Pain
Purge Conditions
Mending
Healing Signet
Attributes
You should use something along the lines of:
Healing Prayers : 8
Tactics : 14
Strength : 11
NOTE:
This is the build that is required. However, to actually learn how to do the run itself, you must learn either by observing a pro do the run or actually doing it yourself.
Good Luck!
