Alcohol glitch?

I found this out while doing some PVP in JQ, Fort Aspenwood and AB. If you drink say a 3 minute drink and start the timer and when you enter the battle you minutes are already there. Sometimes in full, and sometimes the timer is still going. I do not know if this is well known or not

are u drinking a 3 minute drink? drinking a level 1 drink wont work considering you need at least 3 level 1 to even get the drunk effect
