When Elrond desires chicken for a repast his mighty elven hunters need go no further than the bridge at Rivendell, as Elrond prefers free range chicken, so the chickens run in voluntarily called by Elrond's will, like lemmings to the sea......

well, in reality a european server had a chicken run from the shire to rivendell the beginning is very funny all the chickens leaping and then the starters flag goes off and they EXPLODE out of Sanndsons (sp?) farm

for the record only 7 of the 75 ended on Elronds groaning board (why did the dozens of helpers stay on horseback rather than run ahead killing the mobs?)
