I checked using people who hadn't been on since may of 2008 and it worked, but checking the char i was on two hours ago, it said he hadn't been on recently enough, so go figure....

do the eu codemaster servers have an export character function?

prob an easy way to check would make a guildlaunch kin site, they export your kin members and populate your member list and (in most cases) show the gear and stats of the char, for us servers anyway....
