Exploit or game mechanic? Corp theft is all part of the Eve universe as long as you dont use other peoples accounts to log in etc.


If you are a director of a corporation you have access to the impounded assets tab in the corporation info screen. If you travel to the station in question then click the corp hanger button it will ask for an impound fee to release the items. This fee is usually a fraction of the value of the materials impounded. Paying the fee causes the items to be transferred to YOUR hanger, you can even use the corp wallet to pay for it, im not sure if this is auditable or not yet. Still you can get a lot of stuff for littel or no ISK. If its impounded its quite possible that the corp has forgotten about it anyway.

I have personally raped a corp I was leaving for over 100 Mill in mins recently using this method. Ofcourse if you were leaving you could just take everything anyway...

I considered setting up a newb corp on an alt and providing everyone with hanger access letting it fill up slowly for a month and 'forgetting' to pay the rent on the office. Could work well if you do it multiple times.

A tip: If your corp has there own POS and have a ship maintance array, Most people store there valuable ships in there, You can dock all the ships, take all of the modules put them in a can, and then haul it over and sell it.

After you have done that, board the ships one by one and fly to a belt, when you find some strong rats, make them attack you but dont do anything back, Let them destroy the ship and fly back with your pod to the POS and repeat.

You always get insurance money this way, (like 15 million for a not insurred drake, thats alot for maybe 2-3 minutes work)
