However, the tactics described within are very valuable for and a corp or alliance trying to get the upper hand in a fight. The discussion is how to manipulate the size of a "grid" to your advantage so that you can have an upper hand in fights tactically, and generally confuse your enemy. I've used a couple of these concepts and they certainly work, plus this information is unlikely to be outdated in future patches or with the release of new ships/modules because of it's global nature.

I am not a regular member but as a 3 year player of Eve I can say that this works as described. I use it myself when preparing assaults on high sec POSes.
