Aquatic Research Notebook Quest

I'd suggest being level 6 to complete this quest. To start the quest you must find the named shark Bladefin. To find Bladefin, open your map, and look for the shark fin in the bay. This is where he spawns. He is on about a 10-minute respawn so if you miss him no worries he'll be back. He generally spawns near the fallen pillar you will see in the water. Once you find him and kill him, he will spawn a treasure chest. Upon opening the chest you will get the following items:

Earring of Disgust
After you equip your new earring, read the book. It starts a rather simple quest to kill certain aquatic creatures. You must kill the following:
Shoal glider
Needlefang
Reef Turtle
Sawtooth Shark
The task is simple enough. The only creature that may give you a problem is the sawtooth shark, since they do agro. Once you complete the quest you are told to return the samples to Malvonicus. Malvonicus is in... yes you’re guessed it, Malvonicus' Tower. After talking to Malvonicus you receive the following:
Bracer of the Apprentice
That’s it, go away... we don't want any Girl Scout cookies...
