Ah i see. thanks for the input. Ive been thinking about more ideas, but none as of yet. Just looting, but really im only interrested in looting chests. That probably shouldnt be too hard for you in the future I would think. Same as checking for resources to harvest, you could check for chest and then open, then if you are poisoned or what not, the health checker should kick in and heal you and you are still good.

I really ironed out a lot of problems here, and ran flawlessly for me for about 8 + hours in Antonica.

Set the mobs you would like to pull!
eg. I want to kill Grey mobs and Yellow 2up Grp mobs (if you dare!)

its not up but you can look for it soon. Im pretty big into bodybuilding and fitness. So im making my own site with info for people to help learn how to exercise, what to eat, health risks of being out of shape, pics of proper form on machines, etc. thats the main page. Now since its my domain, im going to add a hidden pages for everquest. So the main site will be www.professorflex.com then my everquest is going to be www.professorflex.com/everquest2 but no link from the main page to the everquest page. and Im gonna put a msg board too. Main reason for eq stuff is because myself and a my friends are all tier3+ artisans as well so i want to use the site for people to come and request items to make.

still doesn't work - just stands in one spot and starts to do HOs.Targeting and attack appear to still be the main problem. It's running through all the buttons but no target has been aquired.

Anyone that downloaded recently it will find there was an error on line 452, my fault I never tested it with no combat.ini file - hence never threw the error for me at the time.

Working again now, download again.

I have my script here aquiring mobs no problem and working 100%.

Running away now on other pc and never fails to find a mob, if it still not working for you after having downloaded the fixed 452 line error - then POST your combat.ini file here Deceptic (make sure to remove your eq2charname and servername from it)

Make sure you have CONSIDER key set! Or it wont know what mobs its looking at!

It still has a problem getting a target. I have all the buttons configured correctly. My consider button =n
There is nothing to consider when it doesn't have anything targeted. My target nearest is F8 (default), cycle=y. once I manualy select a target it hits ranged and then attack. right after attack is hit it goes back to ranged.
Also, what about setting the path to be the default when initalizing: (c:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\logs\)

1. Post yer combat.ini here
2. Running at 1024 x 768 (Windows Desktop?)
3. Reset UI position? in EQ2
4. Can you see it logging, then considering during battle?
5. Not trying to attack Grey mobs? Script only attacks Greens and upwards and avoids grp mobs currently.
6. You do have CONSIDER button set in EQ2 Menu dont you?
7. You have the latest file I just posted?

I have the desktop set to 1024x768, verified EQ2 windows is set correct w. windowspy. Maybe you can tell me what you have setup and I'll try to replicate it...

When it starts it doesn't attempt to F8 it just selects self and buffs (no need to select self when buffing). Right after buff it goes into attack routine with nothing selected. I am standing in an area w. green and blue mobs all around me.

Hmm all those settings look perfect, going to test it with just one combat key set - like you have, the script is optimised for level 14+ you must be running this on someone level 7 or something with only one combat sequence...

Your ranged key is the RANGED ARROW from abilities menu yes?

It should start getting targets after buffing self - weird.

Nope can't see anything wrong with your settings and it seems to still work fine on mine with those settings.

The thing that gets me is you say it dosent get any targets - are you sure the KEYS are set in EQ2 - F8 is set in eq2, yes? - everything else seems to be in place, I can't figure it out.

Something is out of place somewhere in your EQ2 Keys or something, all the pixel colours you have are the exact same as mine so no problems there. * Sigh *

Be patient... let the script run for at least 2 minutes - and see what it does - the only other thing that comes to mind is you dont have a BOW for ranged pulling, that's what Guardian pulling option is based on. If you arent using a bow and some sort of long range spell, then set it up as caster.

I'm not sure what the problem is. When I go through it manuly it works fine. F8 select closest, n to con, y to cycle through and F1 to select self.

can you send me your Eq2 config file so I can check the diff?

I just tested it w. my wizard and I got the same results, it's not getting a target or conning etc...
