EQ2: Max out your spell casting skills quickly!

Hi,
I discovered a way to quickly raise your spell casting skills. Start running and casting spells. Cast the spells that use the skill you need to raise. You'll constantly get interruptions or fizzles and each one of those is a chance at raising your skill. I raised one of my spell skills 20 points in 10 minutes of running.
Another little tip...several spells can be cast on yourself - just press F1 - this comes in really handy.
For those spells that have to be on a mob, just target them, start casting and running around.

I don't know if you have seen this or not....I figure that just like every other thing, it's not new - someone out there has to know it. I'm new to EQ2...from UO...trying to discover new things, just thought I'd share.
If it is posted somewhere else, I apologize for wasting forum space.

Good stuff, i'll reccomend you get prem access. This could take awhile btw, since Admin is pretty AWOL at the moment.

Apparently I'm not the only person that's noticed that...I PMed him about something about 2 weeks ago and still no response. Oh well though, better later than never.

Can anyone make a quick macro for it?
Cause it works but takes quite alot of time.
And I get dizzy runing in circles so much
lol.

just move back and forwards
and it works just fine
do not run over rocks or other things
you have to be on steady ground good luck
this rocks!!!

Yes it rocks but takes ages!
A simple macro will max it in one night.

I don't reccomend making a macro to just run back and forth casting.. this will get you noticed and banned quickly.. well maybe not banned.. but reported by the goodie two shoes out there...
Grab the way point maker "thewatcher" made and encorporate it into buffbot/hunterbot by "richyrich"... have him run a route casting on himself with a repeating buff str or heal str

Good idea Disco... I guess i just usually get my skill ups while i do something else like harvesting, etc.. be as productive as possible while afk

Just go into an instance you grey out and use the macro there.
Now we just need a macro
