Ok here is how to get foresting up to T3 max using only 1 node!!

First go to a Zone called "The Eternal Gorge" it is off of the zone called CommonLands.

There is a bug in this instance that when you harvest on the lumber it doesn't go away! Now it won't let you harvest rares, or even wood from it but it never goes away and you can max your skill from 90 to 160 really quick on just 1 node.

DIRECTIONS
This Zone is called "The eternal Gorge" It is in the Tower right by the Nekulos Forest Griffon Station. Go to the top of the tower and click the rock and pick "The Eternal Gorge". after you talk to guy next to rock to get access

The only addition to what the original poster said :

You can in fact get wood from the nodes - you'll chop alot. However, you have to be high level. I've gotten Fir from them also. I'm 290 Foresting, and it still takes 10 to 15 chops to clear a node.
