It works gave 5 million isk to some dude yesterday and he gave me 10 million isk back. I will be investing more next week!

its really quite funny!!
the fastest way for you to earn some ISK is to run some agent missions, and / or mine. With agent missions you can start in a friagate, work up to a cruiser, and then a battleship here;s a rundown of the agent missions.
Remember Security & Internal security have the kill missions.
Level || Type of Rat || What you need to do it
Level 1 - Frigates [solo frigates]
Level 2 - Frigates and Low Cruisers [group frigates]
Level 3 - Cruisers [ solo battleship / battlecruiser / group cruiser ]
Level 4 - Battleships and High Cruisers [solo battleship / group battleship]
Hope this helps you. If you are struggling to raise your standings for a level 2, work your social skills up.
