Master Powers Area Kill Exploit

I've heard about this a bit today, and this is basically what happens:
The Master Powers area intimidates, and then kills his target on the next attack. Everyone affected by the area intimidated will instantly die.
For Example:
You have four people on you outside of Theed. You hit area intimidate, and then kill a nearby nuna with the next attack. The next second, all of them drop dead.
I just heard about this I'm not a jedi so I can't verify.
