Buy up a bunch of tuned crystals noone wants, or is willing to sell tuned, then transfer your char over to another server. Viola. Now your items are un bio-linked. Switching servers will un biolink everything, not just crystals. Happy exploiting. Works as of 8/18/2006 11:04 PM.

Wondered why there was a guy on my server buying tuned Sunriders for 5 mil, lol. Very cool. Very helpful to those about to server transfer, just load up on those goodies. Yay.

I don't believe this is true. I compared two chars I have, both with Sunrider's. One of them was transferred cross-server with his Sunrider's. I don't see any difference between the crystals. While neither of them say "Bio-Link", both say "Owner" with their respective name. I didn't try to trade the crystal though. Maybe I should to try that.

When did you xfer servers? Worked for me. I xferd as poseted. Please someone confirm this before this gets nerfed, and I don't get my extension of membership.

I think it is a random thing, like armor sometimes changes to default color when you transfer and sometimes it doesnt. Just depends on if everything goes right or not. I have transfer twice before and changed my name and took a bio linked weapon both times and it stayed bio linked to me and the name changed to the correct name as well.

Trouble is, its a little tricky to confirm, as it relies on people spending money, and needing to transfer in the first place. It's going to take time.

Are you serious, no not random. READ THE FORUMS, it's all over the place. People are ripping people off doing this. Buy hand fulls of sunriders, sell them once transfering servers. Keep some credits, and sell the rest on site that sells credits. So no money out of pocket once you sell one S.R. crystal for 200 mill. Sell 5 and you make money in R.L. for this trick. BAH!! I know it's the rules though. Can someone just confirm this. IT WORKS!!!!!

Also It seems it works alot more with this current patch. Most things that clear bio-linking and "Owner" of crystals is the lave crytal and sunriders. Also Mustafar weapons. Beyond that not much will clear. Have not confirmed "Flawless pearls" though. Any feedback would be nice though.

I've transfered two toons since the initial post in this thread, both with tuned sunriders amoungst other things in inventory. Everything stayed bio-linked. The only "glitch" was that for one toon, I logged in, and called out a vehicle, and a stormie pet before going to the website to initiate the transfer. This toon didn't lose the datapad contents. Haven't tried again yet to see if that is repeatable. The other toon.....he cloned: exists on both original and new server. But that's somethig I'd attribute to random luck.

Just asking around, seems none of the people I know who have transferred recently, have lost any bio-links.

Im going to say nay on this. I agree its most likely luck of the draw.

I tried a transfer last week.

I had with me: a tuned sunrider and two sets of armors bio-linked (Katran and stormtrooper).

Result:
- the Sunrider is now untuned.
- the two armors have a <unknown> on the line bio-linked, but I try to wear them, it says 'This armor is bio-linked to someone else'.
