Bypass cooldown on Stasis

For starters I should say that I already reported this and had it confirmed as an exploit of sorts by a Dev (I know, I know - I'm too nice). I presume they're working on fixing it.

First off, there is a random element to this but the odds decrease depending on how many items/buffs you have that give +procs...

Also I have only tested this on my Medic - I presume it would work on other professions as well.

Basically it works like this - if you target someone and use a special ability (including buffing people) there is a chance a +proc or "Glancing Blow" will fire. If this happens you hear a "click" sound when you do the special, as if you have an invalid target. However, what you intended to do actually happens - so in the case of Stasis what actually happens is your target DOES get Stasised, but your toolbar clicks and you can reuse the skill again straight away on someone else.

I don't know whether this works on pure offensive specials or not, but it definitely does work on Stasis - and I also hear the click sound and no cooldown on buff abilities.

I have used this successfully on my Medic to Stasis 4 people in a row without having to suffer the long cooldown. If you stack +proc mods like Cyber Shock, Overwhelming Shock, Static Strike, Toxic Strike etc then you will vastly increase the chances of this working.

Wait a minute.. You reported the exploit - now your posting it here.... I'm a bit confused. Do you not realize you are being counter productive to this site by reporting it?

The exploit/trick I posted here not to long ago, I shared with a friend. He then told me a week later he reported that exploit. Do you know what I do now???... I no longer tell him anything that has to do exploits I discover.

Nay on principle alone. You dont report exploits.

It is merely based on luck anyway just for an extra ability. And why post it if they are about to fix it? That is useless to us. NAY!
