Snipershot Mark 4 is as strong as sniper shot mark 5 and 6 combined and it costs less action and cools down quicker.
Just submitted a picture as proof!

i'll confirm that this is partially accurate, albeit, the base rolls from previous versions of ALL damage skills tend to have very little progression in terms of overall damage. for instance, a jedi whom uses strike 5 instead of strike 7 might do a range of about 200-400 less in pvp, but use half the action and be able to use it more frequently; I've been experementing with all the damage skills of a jedi to try and figure out which does the best dps overall, but it just so happens that it mostly comes down to the luck of the rolls. thus, it's very easily for you to get a strike 6 to do more damage than a strike 7 (provided the strike 6 got a lucky roll, where the strike 7 got an awful one). Thus, technically, the damage is roll-random to begin with (same reason you never auto-attack anything for identically the same damage ever). So, no, it's technically not more powerful than the highest version (or equally powerful), that's mere chance. It is, however, close to the same damage, consumes less action, and has a slightly shorter cooldown time. I'll nay it because it simply is NOT stronger than the highest version, but I do advise others to fool around with slightly downgraded skills if they find themselves having action problems.
