How to reactivate an old trial and claim vet rewards!

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\Launchpad\LaunchPad.exe" /game:starwars /promo:106
got it to work again last night..

right click your swg desktop icon (only swg icon, not the other soe all game inclusive thingy)
and select properties, shortcut (tab), target..
enter this (best to change what is there)
"C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\Launchpad\LaunchPad.exe" /game:starwars /promo:106

this is working 100%, it all maybe depends on your install, my install is the original retail (very first disk set), not the downloaded trial...

you must have an old trial account that you haven't activated in a while...
i have now reactivated 23 accounts for free and got all the vet rewards, 50% i sold and have now made 230 million creds.

this is very possible as most of us old vets used to activate trial accounts all the time to place harvies and houses for making cities etc.

Already been posted and I have no idea what changing the target text has to do with anything. If the account is reactivated as is your main goal in this post, then there's no need to change anything. It's simply possible to login to that account as if it were a full account. I've already done it with 3 accounts. Weeks before you posted this.

P.S.
NAY

Nay.. You can create a trial account without changing the target line...

yes you can create a trial without changing the target line, but its a restricted account..
the option i posted allowed 14 day access unrestricted...

to the first reply, changing the target line sends different instruction to the client, these options are built in by the developer, there are many other options for the swg client, all which im now gonna keep secret.

cause on return home the above option was nerfed by sony..
so in essence all items posted here are read by sony..

the two nays show lack of understanding to what i posted...

never mind, admin please delete!

they were/are unrestricted, but i removed the info cause the two negative joes who posted /nays pissed me off.

how can you /nay something that works...????

the option i posted has been working for 12 months.
within 5 hours of posting it here, it was nerfed....
but i do have 2 other client options that give unrestricted accounts, but i will not post them here for negative joes to /nay and have exploits reported to sony gm/dev's by others.

maybe why folks keep exploits to themselves now or then again maybe sony own this board to get us to tell em the exploits :-)

This is why I /nay'd it.. There was no explanation as to what changing the target line would do.. All it looked like to me was he was creating a trial account.. He never posted what "unrestricted" meant.. I later pm'd him he explained it. I would have yay'd it after knowing, but it was to late, he had removed it. The little details matter.
