Do you want to use vendors as storage, but you fear that someone could jump in and buy your stuff? Or simply, do you want to set-up some vendors for your guildies only? Here is a simple step-by-step:

1) Declare the structure public
2) Place one or more vendor inside
3) Exit the structure and wait for its content to uload from the world (30 min I guess)
4) Enter the structure again and BEFORE it loads (so before that every item placed inside appears on your screen) digit the command /setprivacy
5) the structure is now private, with your vendors placed inside ;)

I don't see the point in this, I mean you can always put your stuff to the max limit and make the vendor not searchable...

First, anyone playing nowadays knows that there are a lot of items worth more than 99 mil, you can't be 100% sure none will come to your house just to steal your items.

Second, as I said, it's extremely useful if you want to setup a vendor for you guild only....

Third, for the way I see it, a yes or no should be given if it works, or not, not if you like it or no....

It's clever but you can still put items on your vendor in a bag named MAH STUFF and no one will come along and buy it for 99999999 credits w/o knowing whats inside. Nay.
