I figured this out a long time ago, but kept it under wraps, seeing that back then, BWH reigned supreme. I just recently decided to release it. Here it goes.

This CANNOT get you banned. (Unless you get reported by someone who saw you floating in the air)
This CANNOT get you suspended. (Unless you get reported by someone who saw you floating in the air)
This CAN be fixed. So keep it on the DL, sorta.

Alright, well. We have all read those tutorials "how to change models in WoW."
Yes, but there IS a certain way to change a CERTAIN model to make you float/get to high places/cheat.

Here's how you do it. What's the ONLY item in the game that you can spawn on the map?
A campfire.

What's the biggest, walkable, object in the game?
The Dark Portal.

Replace the campfire with a dark portal, make a campfire, and SHABANG. A tall-!@#$%^&* darkportal that you CAN walk on but everyone sees you floating/standing on air.

For you model-challenged players out there, I took the liberty to pre-make a Data/World folder.

Instructions:
1) Extract it.
2) Put the World folder into your Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data folder.
3) Make a campfire in-game.
4) Viola!

It takes a little bit to figure out exactly how to stand to make the perfect ramp, but you will get the hang of it.

Sick of seeing Dark Portals everywhere? Well, just rename the World folder inside your Data folder to World1 or something besides World. Then, when you want to use it again, rename it back to World.

it seems like you could get banned for this as you would be able to get to places you wernt sopossed to be... but /yay cuz it works

Hey, would this be useful for getting up into deadmines from those little drops. For everyone that wants to farm VC or one of the end bosses, if they could enter the instance from there it would be much faster.

EDIT: This did NOT work on the PTR for me. I may have done something wrong but I followed instructions as said and it did not work.

EDIT2: Worked on live, looks like this has been nerfed in 1.11, cannot say for certain though.

USE WHILE YOU STILL CAN... just incase.

frieten Very nice job, I used tried and it worked!. The bad thing is that ppl fast will call you a hacker, that means you will get reported for floating in the air! witch will mean you will get banned

Used it in AV in plain site and wasn't banned.
