this is an exploit because while flying like this you can shoot mobs/players below you with little or no risk, I suggest trying it - its great fun, soloed 72 elites wihout no problem and took no damage so this was an impressive find.

note: don't attempt to solo kazzak or doomwalker as their AOE's can hit you from wherever you are floating

and you arn't technically flying but swimming so its slow to get wherever your going.. but damn its fun o be OP

If you have swim speed potions you can move at 100% through the air

that is def worth trying since when attempting to kill a fel reaver for a friend while doing this "superman" exploit I couldnt keep up with the revear to dish out enough dps swim speed potions might just give this trick the added edge it needs to put someone as close to God Mode as possible lol

I did this to a friend yesterday and they got a 3 hour ban some 2 hours later.

Yeah, i was doing it in shat, which probably wasnt a good idea, got reported, but only got a warning. Now im staying in far away places where nobody comes, and nobody has said anything to me now. A few hints for the thing to work. have the mage make the macro


/castsequence reset=3 Frost Nova, Polymorph, Frostbolt, Cone Of Cold

then put the macro on the action bar, have the other person mount up, and spam this macro, it will do the 4 spells as soon as the global cooldown drops, and works almost every time.

Also, you can mount up on your epic land mount, and it will not break this effect, so you can still travel quickly to places without making people report you (not to mention a flying tabulk looks pretty neat

i've tryed to use this on the edge of instances to try to get into them with the effect doesnt seem to be working?
what otehr tricks have you guys found with this?

/yay awsome find.... i used it to solo some 68 rare spawns with the help of another mage friend. Just gotta watch his heath and make sure you hit him ever 3 seconds or so or they will reset. Also you have to be targeted by the rare spawn when you kill it or it won't drop any loot.

/yay the flying does work. However, you cannot deal damage while doing this, I tested this on UVUROS in Shadowmoon valley multiple ways and you cannot solo damage mobs. I tried Dotting him then flying up and continuing to hit him, he did not evade and i did not leave combat, but his life went to full and he did not take anymore damage. I also tried attacking him after being midair and it did not deal any damage. Having agro also seems to nullify any helpers damage, I had a mage buddy try and it took no damage from his hits either while i was in the air.

If you have further explanation on how to kill a creature while flying please explain

Can anyone confirm if this still works or not? Tried it multiple times using the macro / and without but it wasent doing anything.

I could not get this working as of 4:30a. I tried it using the /castsequence macro posted above.

still works fine, although, after ambushing people on their birds, i got a /t from a GM.. it said "GROUND NOW. Ground NOW or face the consequences."
