Ok, well after my last post in ask a pro, i bought TR. So, just a few moments ago i installed TR, patches were updated ect. So, when i hit play this message came up;

Error initializing Game Client. Contents of tabula_rasa.log:
ERROR: Unknown shader profile found
WARNING: Warning
ERROR: Failed to load Global Effect
ERROR: Init Device Failed to load default effect
ERROR: Failed to start device.
ERROR: PalantirApp::Initialize failed

Does anyone have a way to fix this? I've tried everything it has said on the TR site, I have opened my fire wall, put my router to the correct settings Ect. So, if you have any ideas on how to fix this problem i would greatly apreaciate it. Thank you.

From the error looks like a graphical / directX problem, you sure your videocard can run this game ?

Can be also a bad video driver or corrupted directx drivers.

What others games you are running right now ?

Hmm best bet is to google the last error. Or to try their direct forums.

u are going to need an updated graphics card, and need i think it's called shader 1.0...or higher..or character shader. u can update everything all u want..it's not a software thing it's hardware on the card itself.

Ok, ill update my graphics card and see if that works. I tried their tech support, but their response was "We MIGHT get back to you on this problem tomorrow"
