If you want to take no falling damage when going down large cliffs/mountains, simply walk to the edge and inch your way forward. Once you start sliding down turn and face the cliff and run towards it.
You should do a little tuck and roll when you hit the bottom and take no damage.
This one has been working since Beta.

does not work on every cliff

Higher level maps have higher cliffs where the edge does not slope outwards at the base.

Trying this on these maps will not only damage you but will insta kill you.
