help! i am a mage who dosent know how to attack!

i see mages attack couple of monsters at the same time.
how do i do that? what skills can attack a few monsters at a time?
how do i use this technicqe ?

Hi you need to become lvl 33 (Thunder) I dont know how it is for others but then you could attack a couple monsters at the same time with Thunder Burst. When you become lvl 45 you learn a new one, with lightning that would be Thunder Cloud, and at lvl 60 you learn static nova and then you could also attack a couple of monsters at the same time.
