Beta 3 - Yes I'm in

This morning I woke up expecting just another day of raiding in EQ2.
I checked my email as always for any updated info on games.
To my surprise... I have been invited to join Vanguard Beta!!
I'm stoked. I was actually sort of surprised to not see any sploits posted here yet.
So far.. the initial install file was 11megs.
After downloading and installing that..
I'm now looking at about a 2hr and 50min launchpad patch @ 3mbit speed

total download time at 3mbit will be about 8 to 9 hours total, total file size as of right now is 23gig

all files are uncompressed atm, so that is the reason for the 20g+ size

it's still a resource hog...wondering what it will be at launch...?
what I wouldn't give to find an exploit or bot to make some money!!! it's hard to come-by IG... which is a good thing...unlike what has happened to the SWG economy!

In correction to my previous post, brad posted the other day that the files are compressed. The final client is going to be more like 23-24gigs. But after all, the game is friggin huge, so i guess that makes sense.

I have been sent an activation code for Beta 3. Unfortunately due to some computerissues ( new laptop won't play it ) it's useless to me. Could a trade be worked out with Tault for a membership extension? Feel free to reply here or PM me, I'll check back later today or this evening.

What is wierd is that when downloading the client, it makes you believe that your done (the bar is at 100%).
Then, you still have like an hour to go :0(

I was in B2, my beta got expanded to B3
i was must say that the latest patch realy downsized the preformance
And yea its Exacly 22.8GB
when i was downloading it i actualy thought it was dling some files to many times

played it for about an hour, just a copy of WoW with better graphics tbh. Not worth the 23gigs of space it took up.

Cause it's not a Copy of WoW
It's a EQ/EQ2 Type.... The directors/producers are from EQ. You can't even compair this to WoW lol....
