This is a version of the pre bk8 exploit that was nerfed with bk8

clear GS as usual (for the inexperienced grp after 1 boss send captain on to tag the next boss die & retreat to stop the timer).

When you get to the final boss & have cleared the sets of adds at the top of the stairs/entrance as a group move to the gate to the right of the throne hugging the wall on the right & jumping over the obstcles. Once all in the gateway (backs to gate) tank goes to boss to start him & returns immediately & in doing so pulls the 2 archers down these (when they respawn they will be the other side of the gate effectively removing them from the fight).

Next the tank goes and pulls the boss (the Devoted will be in anti-exploit mode behind the throne & will remain there for the duration of the fight) back to the gateway where you nuke him down.

It important that you remain with your backs to the gate & do not move out past the pillars or the boss will reset (then you need to run out down the stairs to reset him).

Due to the fire the boss drops u need to be vigilant & move right & left along the gate as a group to avoid it however if someone is on voice to 'call it' for the group this isnt difficult.

Once you have done this a couple of times it is easy & obviously quicker than the usual method of tank archers & kite boss without hitting devoted..

Just so the admin is aware, mannymann posted this information (July 11) before this threads author did (July 30). So its a first come first serve basis there, right?

nerfed a bit, but there's still an exploit. you can't lock the archers behind the gate anymore. you go in, hug the wall the right (stay behind the flags), all the way around the back of the throne. healers and hunter get on top of the throne (get on the chest, jump towards the throne, couple more jumps and you're on top), then tank starts boss up. everyone NOT on the throne stays on the platform where the throne is and fights the boss there. as soon as the tank starts the boss, he runs back to the back of the throne and *hopefully* the archers aggroed on him and go into anti-exploit for the duration of the fight (along with the devoted). also, as soon as the boss' health bar turns red, the hunter takes aggro from atop the throne. if done properly, the boss will stay aggroed on the hunter and do no damage to anyone at all the whole fight, although he gets annoying with his constantly-spammed yells (looks like i've found a break in your armor, suffer the wrath, etc over and over).

Not sure if this has been detailed or not, but there it is.
