Book 7 is a new on-ramp for the Epic story (meaning if you've gotten hung up on completing Book 5 or Book 6, you can still start fairly fresh with Book 7), so it's soloable and easier than some of the others. They do tend to get more difficult as you progress, and that'll probably be true with the next several books.
