Gold Farming

I will be working on a script for this soon, but wanted to point out one of the best spots that I've gone so far to farm.

In the barrows near Bree, in the very back up the hill, there's a barrow that has several stone columns creating a "walk way" to the entrance... usually has 1 heavy ash node and at least 1 yew node (if not heavy), it's guarded by 4 to 6 wights of various flavors. It is to the left of the lake area in the middle.

Anyhow, the inside is filled with level 20 Signatures that are kinda tough to kill at level 20. But not impossible. At 21/22 I began farming this area because of the frequency which I received barrow treasures and the cardolan trinkets. You can also find well kept mathoms and mathoms in there as well.

Anyhow, the place is loaded with bats, and they drop the most treasure/trinkets.

In just under an hours work, I can gather about 750s in trash loot and about 50+ trinkets 75+ treasures and 10+ mathoms, 5+ Well Kept mathoms.

Now that I am nearing level 30, I can accomplish this in about a 1/2 hour. I've accumulated enough treasures and trinkets to Kinship 3 characters (including my farmer) with The Men of Bree.

My Computer died so have to visit friend and borrow theirs to check things here..

Before the fatal crash I spent 2 hours in trying to find this vaguely described place and couldn't.. all my screen shots are gone

There are 3 parts to this area Old Forest Northern Barrows and Southern Barrows

Maps of Barrow downs:

I think the author meant Haudh Iarchith http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Haudh_Iarchith

Which is the reputation dungeon, and if you want reputation items for personal use or to sell you go there no big secret about that....

When I ran through it twice that day before pc death I saw no bats but there was ONE other person in there

before they redid the zone to level it down for lowbies there were no bats and the crawling hands "seemed" to drop more reputation items but since it IS the reputation dungeon ALL mobs have the reputation items on their loot table but if doing it at level you really can't pick or choose what you fight in a dungeon you pretty much have to kill everything in your path

to me this submission was a vague yet common sense thing ...
want rep items? -> go to only rep dungeon in area

probably more sought after rep items to farm for better gold results would be

Elves of Rivendell (Reputation)
http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Elves_o ... eputation)

Signets of Rhudaur
Goblin-town Tabards
Elf-relics

To get the

Elf Ambassador's Horse
http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Elf_Amb ... %27s_Horse

which is the easiest to get of the "premium" horses with the best stats

Elf Ambassador's Horse

Induction: 5s
Speed: 168%
Morale: 250

Unable to evade.
Unable to parry.
Unable to block.
