VG Tricks - Use Higher Level Wand Effects

Buy a wand or a staff that is way higher than you can wear, keep the item in you bag and you can macro the effect of that wand by using /itemuse
So in theory you could be level 1 and have a level 50 wand and still use the effect.

Works. You still have to wait for the timer though, so you can't cast 1 wand and then another right after. Have to wait.

No where did I post this was a basic knowledge post. Care to point me to the page in the manual where this is explained? Didn't think so, its a exploit that has not been posted on this boards, thus NOW its basic knowledge to this website.

This was not basic knowledge... and it deserves points. its a very good trick specially at low levels and you have the money to buy a wand or staff.. levels seem to fly by...
by the way.. just to add to your post.. since you posted this.. i used this trick with my sorceror to add a huge punch.
if you click right you can cast the wands or staff at the same time you release one of your blasting spells ... which is one heck of a huge punch when soloing mobs. by the time the mob gets to me its already dead.

I did not know this was common knowledge. So I say give em some points. Although My lvl 8 sorc is using a lvl 25 wand and it only hits for 40-60 (mabey its broken:) ) my wand that is going to try a fire one next:)

do a /help listcommands its listed ...
btw you cant use a lvl50 wand at lvl1 if the wand is red you cant use it

to this works great can use ANY wand ( yes even if red ) just use the /itemuse thing, had a lvl 1 bloodmage using a lvl 33 wand was somthing like 348% equipment expertise lol
