use 2 toons, open a trade window,
accept trade,
open crafting station,
craft whatever uber item

you keep item and mats

also works for decon, you can decon the same item over and over

item pops on screen

hit accept on both

loot item

key is to start trade before crafting, then accept trade before looting item

The key is to make sure the person crafting isnt the one who opens the trade or else it doesnt work.

Just as a confirmation, this was NOT fixed with GU2
