Okay. so you get a Bellato Spiritualist and you have him cast cure on you. While he is casting cure find out how much it heals you for. Ex 1100 Hp.. Next find a mob that does around 700-1000 damage to you. Get a weapon that you can not hit the monster with such as a bow if you have 1 range pt. Sit there and your friend will level his cure while you level your defense pt.
