I'm wondering if theres a hack to enable play via a hand held controller , I ask because Maple story would be ideal for this, plus it'd be like 10 times more fun to play that way I have tried all those programs for mapping my keyboard input to my game pad but they simply don't work with maple story so it seems as tho Game guard is possibly blocking this? Can anyone please offer any advice?

Try using process guard to enable your controller to read Maple, but block maple/GG from reading the controller. Just a suggestion, not sure if it'd work though....

I did a little thinking, and I thought about this:

That it's not gameguard that's blocking you from using a controller, because that's not what it was designed to do.

But instead, MapleStory won't let you use it, because it isn't compatible with it, regardless of your keys being mapped or not.
