FlyFF - What's New This Week! October 18,2007

Excerpt from Elementor Lucien Alianore’s Journal:
I can feel the chill of autumn bearing down on me, harsh and relentless. It seems to seep into my old bones and tinge my skin a color more suited to the leaves that surround my cottage. I’m not as young as I used to be and have begun to feel each year more than the last.
I saw them again today. One glided right by me as I left my cottage, staying to the shadows of the trees, eyeing me as I went to visit Juria. A single word filled my mind upon seeing him, moving like mercury through the woods: Vampire. I stumbled over some unseen obstacle and when I looked up he was gone.
And later when I was leaving the Bobo Brothers, there was another. A Kang shi. A living corpse! It was all I could do to craft a binding spell and attach it to her forehead before getting on my board and flying off as fast as I could. She reached for me at the last moment, hands grasping, eyes staring blankly.
There is change in the air…
On a more cheerful note: I’ve made great success with imbuing in-animate objects with life. After weeks of trial and error my staff smiled at me today. And I’ve begun work on a Hamburger as a gift for my niece, although, I seem to have misplaced it…
