VGE Simple necro hunting bot

Basic features:

Summon Pet
Find closest mob defined as attackeable
Kill it
--Cast 2 spells on it
Loot it
Repeat.

Pretty easy.

Just be sure to edit the constants near the top of the file.



1. Grab VGExtreme 1.1+, run it.
2. Download the simple necro bot .vbs file. Place it in the same directory as VGE.
3. In VGE debugger, click file->Open Project and select the VGSimpleNecroBot.vbs.
4. Edit the constants for yoru character.
5. Hit F5 to run.

i opent it with new Necro to test just for fun...

and after some changes it works very good, ty for that.

1 Question about waypoints:

what cords that are? MoveTo -3000, -5000
is my location -0, -0 ???

also how i can edit it for myself where do i find my current position ?

Hmm I saved it as a .vbs file and when I try to open project in VGE the only thing that comes up is Rar! I'm somewhat new to this is there anything else I have to do to make it .vbs?

You need to unrar it, it is like zip but better.

Oh I see I got it to load up in the XUM but it stops on an error that says line 258 'VGSendCommand', I'm not sure what to adjust on that.

Make sure you are running VGE 1.1 and not 1.0.

Ahh okay that fixed the problem..although now when I run the script all it does is type /pet Guard. It wont target things, move around, attack, or any of that. I made sure all the consts were right.

If it types pet guard it should do the others as well.


Make sure your constants are right. Look at your log in the debugger as its running. It tells you what it is trying to do.

I have everything set up right, I press f5 and a window pops us with all the info bla bla 3 @ left ect ect. im running in windowed mode and nothing is being typed into the chat window.

I got another error trying to have the necro vbs file open by itself without the vgextreme file. It says out of memory - corrupted memory?

If anyone has this tweaked for a ranger, please post it or send it my way. I've edited it to get it working with my ranger, but I dont know enough about scripting to really make it any good.

armageddon85, if you are running the necro script, you should not see the bla bla 3 @ left

It will not make a window at all.

Hit project->load project and select the necro script. Make sure its in the same folder as vge.

Edit: figured out nav, now for this:

I edited this script some and made it work for my druid, but how do i change it so it doesn't attack mobs farther than 25 or 30 yards? it seems to attack anything within like 40, and it gets locked up on one if it is too far away. thanks

When I open as a project this is the error message I get -

"A startup error occured. Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

do i need to reinstall or redownload something?

I started a Necro to test this bot and so ar it seems to work great. I think you can start to use it arround level 4 when you get your pet. The way I set it up was to have "Bone Spike 1" in slot 2 and "Torment 1" in slot 3. Some times though it triggers slots 4, 5, and 6 and I have not igured out why that is. At level 6 I will be posting a modification of the script once I get it down for aggroing mobs because so far all I have been working on killing is non aggro mobs.
