Hi
I had to do a complete reinstall on pc, new install of XP professional etc.
re-installed VG and VGextreme, installed script debugger and .net 2.0 checked no firewalls were on and no virus software causing problems. I can get exhume and extreme to load up but it wont start any script, had everything working before re-install can anyone tell me what ive forgotten or confirm im going mad
thanks
ps updated vgextreme and deleted exhumehelper etc aswell

I have both my pc's with identical OS used the some script debugger .net framework followed the same way i installed extreme yet it works on 1 pc but not the other after 6 hours of trying to work out why extreme will load but just sits there when i try to start the script. im beginging to size up the bin to see if a pc will fit in there. Starting to think playing VG and all the grief of trying to get this to work on its own or with a script aint worth the hair loss.

if you cannot even get exhume to run a script, that is where i'd start. I have no idea why exhume wouldnt run any scripts when you run it.

tried getting exhume to run a script from the begining thinking best place to start but all i get if i run any script on it is "Enhanced script engine for running scripts has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Which is more than i am getting trying to run VGextreme.
I'll give it another couple of hours trying, if not ill do a windows re-install again or give up.

very strange.
no matter what script you run in exhume it gives that error? I'm guessing that thenwhen running VGE it does something similar.

only when running Exhume i get that error running any script with VGExtreme it loads the script but wont run it, it just sits there as if the script hasnt been started.
If i find the problem before i give up ill post it up incase someone else comes across it.

might try to run regsvr32 on the dll's. Other than that, I have no clue.
