I used CE and went thru all 8 tutorial with ease. I pretty much understand the concept but cant seem to find base pointer in online game for the life of me. Trying to learn it for months and cant seem to get it. Im willing to pay for the information, please help >< I have attached the following screenshot taken for VG str of my char, i can search address and so forth and get a pointer, but it's not the base pointer so it doesnt do any good.

Pointers can be a pain. Pointers to pointers can be even more painful, and finaly PointersN->Pointers can be painful to the Nth power.

I know you stated that you went through the CE Tutorial, but humor me. Did you finish the final lesson? Multiway pointers? If you want to get to it real quick, open up the CE Tutorial and type in 525927 then hit the wee little ok button to go directly to it.

I ask because I don't see any Pointer References in your address list.

here is screenshot with str and hp pointer for VG, at one time i think i found like up to 3 pointer deep, then it stop and i cant find anymore. and non of them work either. the tutorial 4th pointer is pretty easy, but in a real game, it seem totally diff. I'm not that blond, somehow i just cant get it, it's like im missing something. Ive been at this for months on WOW, EQ2 but cant seem to get it. LOL

Well, with Register to unlock hidden link it probably makes the most sense to use it instead of finding your own health, etc.

But until it exposes player stats, we will have to find them on our own - and ostensibly once we find them we can get WyvernX to add them readily enough.

I'm running into the same issues - I haven't quite figured out how to handle machine instructions that appear to reference themselves, IE:

mov eax,[eax]

I get stuck there, but if I sort it out I'll get back to you. I've also run into a few pointers that I don't appear to be used by anything according to CE.

Before the last patch I had a number of static offsets for Diplomacy and now they are all shifting sand beneath my feet - sigh.

Anyway, Register to unlock hidden link boards have some good stuff on pointers and how to solve these sorts of problems, but so far it has all been over my head.
