VG Exploits - Aggro free mobs in thestra

In the broken fang slave camp there are groups of gnolls who surround slaves. These gnolls have the slave targetted and do not aggro you when you attack them. Free xp and coin for low teens. The camp is in the vault of heroes (-23,26) enjoy .

There is a single slaver with a slave who will aggro you. So far as i can tell hes the only one who does. May be that there needs to be 2 or more for this to work.

i just ran all the way through VoH and i couldn't find the spawn you're talking about... can you post a screenshot of your map?

This is a valid exploit (or was before i left thestra for qalia several days ago, wouldn't know if still active), having used it myself for a few days for a few minutes here and there.
To get there you go south from the place where the named gnome mage spawns which is in turn south or dergors (or whatever) outpost starting point, you will come to a town on a lake (I think this is in the vault of heroes chunk) which has a bunch of guys in white robes roaming and standing around. If you go south of the lake a bit you will come to a gnoll camp. In this gnoll camp, gnolls who are attacking captive slaves will not aggro you while you kill them (90% of the time). A sure way to find it is to get the quests in the white robe guy outpost that refer to freeing slaves, it points you right to them
Once in a while one of the gnolls may be grayed out like it is engaged, but with 2-4 on a slave at a time for free xp, loss of one is pretty minor, and it only happened to me twice

ah ok i found it. to clairfy, it's slightly SW of the vault of heroes entrance. go to the outpost directly north of vault of heroes, it's called Taehean's Vengeance outpost, and accept the only slaver quest (the NPC's name is like Oknohm). this will put the location on the map. ONLY the ones attacking the slave will not aggro on you. others will.

what level mobs are these?
ah crap, too easy for a lv 13 sorc. Kill everything in 2 spells whole spawn in 2 min and the respawns waaay to slow

i think this has to do more with the area aggro bug? after my group evac from the tower very far north east of qualia, the whole group got aggro bug and got stuck in combat. we went back to the tower and all the giants there were hitting each other and didn't care about us.... was pretty funny.
