As a Blood Mage you can cast Entwining Vein on a mob and have it heal your defensive target anywhere in the zone. As long as they are in the same zone it will heal them =) Enjoy!

Thats a yay. This will be a great exploit for raids.

Bloodmages can stay out of AOE/danger and kill 2 dots outside the raid area, as long as they stay in the same zone. They can heal with impunity.

uh, am thinking there is a problem with his statement. I will check it tonight. I have a friend who is lvl 50 BM. I know the group heal finisher Blood Tribute heals the group no matter how far away they are as long as they are in the same chunk, but I will have to check on EV.

Sorry, the OP is wrong on this. I checked with a friend of mine lastnight. It's not EV that heals no matter where you are in the zone, it's Blood Tribute, their healing finisher.

I haven't tried this in a few weeks, but we had it working when the bloodmage wasn't in the same chuck. we actually had it working across continents. I don't think there is any limitation.

This is very efficient for power leveling. we had a lvl 50 BM just grinding mobs a few chucks away in a group of lvl 30's and the heals would restore the whole group to full about every minute or two. (depending on the BM's crits.)

With Blood Tribute yes, with EV no.

This works if the defensive target is targetable. Unfortunately the distance is around 500m to target your defensive target.
