This might require more experimenting than I've done to test for any destructive nature...

At the moment, you can drop anything from your inventory in your house and instead of giving you a confirmation to delete the item, it places it as a fixture (everything shows as a small pot on my toon). I have placed stuff, picked it up and it restores as the original item. It worked after logging off and on again - item still there.

I wouldn't try it with anything too precious 'til you've tested it a bit. One limitation I have noticed that if you try it with anything that stacks in a high number, it reduces the total number of the stack when you pick the item back up. For example, a stack of 200 arrows became 65 when retrieved.

Anyhoo, it's not much use in general and it's probably short term, but if you need some quick extra storage in your pad it'll work for now.

Can premium members say yay or nay to this being moved to a confirmed section.

been doing this for some time now..thought it was a feature. So yay. haven't gotten in yet today tp see if this works with GU2 though.

I did wonder myself but I guess with them having limits on chests being able to stick 100 things in a T3 house is not what they intended.
